Cross My Heart and Never Lie
Cross My Heart and Never Lie is a comic diary story about 12-year-old Tuva, who returns to school after the holidays and deals with changes in her friendships. The book sensitively and humorously captures adolescence, insecurity, and the search for one’s own identity. The author is Norwegian illustrator and comic book author Nora Dåsnes. Her debut received significant acclaim and several awards, including the Norwegian Ministry of Culture Award, and has been published in several languages.
The Czech edition published by Albatros is a faithful adaptation of the original, for which we created a font imitating the author’s handwriting. We adapted the author’s lettering individually to achieve maximum similarity to the original.
